God Sees Your Trouble and Will Clear the Path
Reverend Leo H. McCrary II
The adversary wants you to lose hope because of your troubles, but you have no reason to give up!

Today’s devotional reading: Psalm 138:4-6
Through trials and tribulations, afflictions and infirmities. For some of us today, it may not seem that God cares. Many of us are being trodden upon, beaten down, robbed of happiness, and left struggling to pay house notes, car bills, and worrying about our health care.
We live in a place where selfish ambition rules the land, and it seems like nobody cares. Yet, through all your trials and tribulations, the Lord is still by your side. Through all your afflictions and infirmities, God is with you and cares.
As Moses told the children of Israel, God is with you, He will never leave nor forsake you (Deut. 31:8). Blessed are the poor in spirit; blessed are those who mourn; blessed are the meek (the lowly), for the shall inherit the earth (Matt. 5:3-5). We should let the teachings of Christ and His peace rule our hearts so that we aren’t consumed by the spirit of doubt.
Keep these things in mind so that you may endure. God has not given us a spirit of fear, He has given us a spirit of power and a sound mind (2 Tim. 1:7). So, as Moses said to the children of Israel, be of courage, even when the going gets tough because God is with you (Deut. 31:6). Remain prayerful, knowing that the Lord already knows the things you need (Matt. 6:8). Lastly, trust in the Lord, as He will make a way of escape from all of your troubles (1 Cor. 10:13).
