Who Can Give True Peace? Not a Fool!

Peace has been promised by kings and queens for thousands upon thousands of years, stop being fooled.

Today’s devotional reading: Ezek. 13:10-16

For one to bring about peace, they must know peace. Every four years, candidates approach a podium and speak sweet words about how they can bring peace to the world. First, they speak about what they would do to bring peace to the “Middle East”. Then, they say the things they will do to “end wars”. Yet, mankind has been waging wars since the first man made such a promise. It’s hard for the thing that doesn’t know peace to be able to bring forth peace.

God is peace, and therefore, He is the only one who is able to bring about peace. To bring forth the peace that we desire in our heart, the Lord gave His only begotten Son. Those who have believed in Him have already received His peace. God’s peace removes our fears, worries, and anxieties. In His peace, there is comfort in knowing that while the world may be falling apart, God still holds us in His hands. Who can take us out of the hands of God (John 10:28-29)?

Stop believing in the empty promises of man. The empty promises of man is literally tearing apart our land and the world today. Even more, the empty promises of man is setting the heart of this land against God. God has promised that those who stand in opposition of Him will fall. One must not follow the way of the fool for his way leads to destruction (Prov. 1:32; 14:12).
