Clarity and Understanding Belongs to God
Reverend Leo H. McCrary II
While we are knowledgeable and wise, our wisdom does not compre to God. God is the sovereign ruler – He is all-knowing.

Today’s devotional reading: Daniel 2:25-30
Let us stop playing “figure it out”. Yes, we are surely knowledgeable and wise, but our knoweledge and wisdom pale in comparison to the one who is knows all things. In his first letter to the Corinthian church, Paul wrote, “God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty (1 Cor. 1:27).”
Simply put, there will be things that don’t make sense to anyone. We will have dreams that we won’t make any sense to us. Things will happen to those around us that won’t make any sense. Things will happen to us that won’t make any sense. You can Google all you want and still the ‘experts of Google and its AI’ won’t have answers to those perplexing questions that rest in your heart.
Let me remind you that God is not the author of confusion. Clarity and understanding belong to God, and He will give it to you if you seek Him and trust Him. This creation can baffle us, and we can make our educated guesses about it, but God knows it – He created it. We ought not ever be troubled as a child of God if we are following His direction.
When you follow God’s direction, He will remove all paths of confusion and distraction from before you. When you follow God’s direction, He will reveal the path of truth for you to take. Clarity and understanding belong to God, and He will give it to you. When God reveals the path of truth for us to take, we ought to go down that path immediately – do not hesitate.
