All Who Believe Shall be Saved
Reverend Leo H. McCrary II
No matter your race or your nationality, if you believe in Him, God will save you from sin’s condemnation.

Today’s devotional reading: Romans 4:13-25
Faith in God’s Promise. Jesus told Nicodemus that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but will have everlasting life. There was a time where, depending on the color of your skin, some men deemed that you can’t be saved. To this day, there are so-called believers who dare say who God won’t save as if they have the authority to tell God who He can and cannot save.
For this cause, many who desire to be saved, will choose to be part of a certain denomination. Some convert to Judaism. Others believe that being part of a specific political party will mean that God will favor and save them. Nowhere in scripture are we told that the political party we are tied to matters, or our race or nationality matters! Jesus told the Jews that He has another flock that He will bring with Him to make one flock – all who believe in Him shall be saved (John 3:16; 10:16).
Even more, not every believer is going to sing the same way. Not every believer is going to pray the same way. Not every believer is going to worship the same way (Rom. 14). Does it matter how we sing, pray, or worship the Lord if all of us sincerely choose to worship Him? Not all believers will eat the same way or even speak the same way! Does it matter if we eat or speak differently if all of us honor the Lord in how we live?
In the end, all that matters is that we love the Lord and we love each other. Now is a good time for us to understand this saying and move forward in this way – the way of Christ.
