Do You Trust God or Believe He is a Liar? | Rom. 9:20-21
May 17, 2024
19 You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?” 20 But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?”
Romans 9:20-21 NKJV
As you often see me talk about, I truly do believe we have to learn to put our full trust in the Lord. You see, it’s very easy for us to put our complete trust in God when things are going our way, isn’t it? When things are going our way, we are rarely hesitant to move or question anything. When things are going our way, our confidence is often at an all time high.
Yet, when things aren’t going our way, it can be a struggle for many of us to put our complete trust in the Lord? Has God not earned your trust? Has God not brought you out of trials, tribulations, times of struggle, and times of desperation? I know that He has for me. Yet, that doesn’t stop some of us from demanding God to move quicker or to do things our way. As Paul asked, who are we to question God or demand things of Him?
God has promised that His desires towards us are not evil. Do you believe that or do you believe Him to be a liar? I certainly hope that you do not become one that believes that God is a liar. The doubter will not be blessed. However, the one that truly trusts in God, in times of good and bad, are those that the Lord blesses. So, as I often do, I encourage you to keep on trusting in the Lord.
