As many of us know, life isn’t always sunshine and rainbows, is it? Some of us think that the dark clouds and storms will disappear when we turn to the Lord. Truthfully, those dark clouds and storms don’t actually go away, though I will say that you learn not to be so afraid of those storms. In fact, you learn that though those storms may be frightening, you have absolutely nothing to fear because God is with you.

So, you should not think it’s a strange thing to go through some things in life as Jesus said it Himself that we are are going to have tribulation (John 16:33). Peter certainly knew a thing or two about having affliction and tribulation, just as I do too. However, something I have learned in life is just how blessed I am because the Lord is with me. Now, others will mock your faith in believing in the Lord but don’t ever let their mocking persuade you to turn away from God.

You see, the Lord is going to bring you through trail after trial and tribulation after tribulation. As Peter said, on your part, the Lord is glorified because even those that blaspheme the Lord will see that you are blessed. You see, the Spirit of glory and God rests upon you and it’s something that all can see. Try as they might but when God gives you His joy, can’t nobody take it away from you. So, I encourage you to keep pushing forward in faith and rejoice with great joy for all that God has brought you through. Don’t let nobody take away your joy!
