God Is Your Salvation

As a child of God, you ought not to ever fear the storms of life because you have a great deliverer in God.

Today’s devotional reading: Psalm 3:1-8

God will deliver you from all that is set against you. Through the prophet Isaiah, the Lord has said that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Is. 54:17). This means that no matter how much Satan sets himself to move against you, he will not prosper. This means that no matter how much the wicked set themselves against you, they will not prosper.

Sadly, no matter how often we hear these words, we seemingly can’t be helped but to fear our adversaries. We seemingly live in a constant fear of what the enemy can do to hurt and harm us. We even believe that the adversary can prevail against us. Do you understand that the enemy prevailing against you would mean that they have prevailed against God?

Who is more stronger than God? Who is more powerful than the Lord? God is the one who created all things – the visible, the invisible, the known, and the unknown.

May I encourage you to do as David did in the day he cried to God about the increasing numbers of those who troubled him? David said that he cried to the Lord, “Arise, O Lord; Save me, O my God!” When David did that, he said that the Lord struck the all of his enemies on their cheekbones and delivered him.

God is your salvation! When you cry out to Him, He will deliver you from all of your troubles.
