Luke 11:17 NKJV

When Jesus said this, He said it in response to what the religious leaders were thinking about Him. Jesus had just finished casting out a demon to which the religious leaders accused Him of casting it out by Beelzebub. Jesus’ statement was to prove that He was not working on behalf of the demon king but for the Lord. In this incredible statement from Christ, we find a hard truth that we simply cannot ignore.

What is that truth? We cannot have a sidetracked mind. James said that one who is double-minded is one that is unstable in all his ways. One that is unstable in all his ways is one who isn’t good at anything. One that is sidetrack is one that lacks the discipline to stay focused. Discipline and focus are key ingredients for one to accomplish goals! Discipline and focus are key ingredients for one to reach the mountain top!

In other words, if you lack discipline and focus, you cannot reach nor receive your blessing. When you are divided against yourself, you will eventually be brought to desolation. I imagine that the last thing that any of us want is to fall. Don’t get sidetracked nor distracted by your fears, anxiety, and stress. Don’t get sidetracked by doubt and your doubters and haters. Solely focus on the goal, focus on God, and you will be blessed.
