Hope Triumphs Over Every Obstacle | Ps. 46:1-3

Reverend Leo H. McCrary II

1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. – Psalm 46:1-3 NKJV

Psalm 46:1-3 NKJV

Yes, I am a hope pastor. No matter the situation, no matter the odds, I will tell you to remain hopeful. You see, the reason why I am a hope pastor and preacher is because I live by hope. I celebrate a birthday today! I have made it this far on my journey, against all that has stood against me, because my hope is in the Lord!

As David said, God is my refuge and strength – He is my hope. I don’t put my hope into that which is temporary. I don’t put my hope into man because is fallible. I put my hope into one who is always there and always available. My Lord doesn’t sleep! My Lord doesn’t take vacations! My God doesn’t get too busy to hear my cry and tend to my every need!

So, for my birthday, I will do the same that I do nearly every day – I call on you to make God your hope. God is speaking and He is moving; He continues to shake our world. Stop putting your hope into that which He shakes and will fall. Hope in the Lord triumphs over everything.
