How Are You Conducting Yourself? | 2 Corinthians 1:12

Read This Passage: 2 Cor. 1:12-14

12 For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.

2 Corinthians 1:12 NKJV

How do you go about conducting yourself in this world? Jesus said to all of us who follow Him, that we should love the Lord with our whole heart, and in loving the Lord, we should love all of those around us. However, we live in a world that is filled with anger and hatred; it has become common for people to make light of what others go through than to help them; people are beginning to be more and more apathetic towards what others go through.

Now, God did not create us to become apathetic in our hearts! Frankly, Jesus should have never had to command us to love each other, but I feel like we all have to be reminded to love each other – I know that I do! For us as believers, we should feel awful when we have done wrong by someone. When we have treated someone poorly, it should weigh on our conscience – our spirit. When we treat someone poorly and it weighs on our soul, that is the Holy Spirit letting us know that we have done wrongly. So, let us go and repent when we treat those around us poorly.

Afterwards, we should then go about conducting ourselves in true love. We should conduct ourselves with godly sincerity through the grace of God to all of those around us. When you move with godly sincerity, it will make you feel really good in your soul, and rather than others being torn down, they will be lifted up. So, let us learn to move with godly sincerity to all of those around us.
