Romans 8:38-39 NKJV

There are a quite a few things that are certain we will experience in life. We are going to have our good days and we are going to have our bad days. We are going to have our trials and our tribulations. Are we going to let those trials and tribulations tear us down? Sadly, many of us feel powerless through our trials and tribulations. This leads to our being overcome in our time of great struggle.

You don’t have to be overcome in your day of struggle. Why don’t you turn to the Lord. Some of us feel like God abandons us in our day of struggle but that couldn’t be any further from the truth. The one thing we learn through our many trials and tribulations is that God is always near. Paul was speaking from experience!

I have learned in my life that Paul was right! There is nothing that can keep God away from His children. I learned this through loss, aches, pains, and disability, nothing can separate me from God. I learned through worry, stress, and the lack of, nothing can separate me from God. Because God is always near, I learned that I am blessed. Knowing that God is always near will calm your heart, and that is a blessing.
