Pay It Forward: The Ripple Effect of Love Received | 2 Cor. 1:3-4
January 31, 2025
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NKJV
Have you been loved by God? Answer: Absolutely. Every single one of us gracing the Earth have been loved by God! The sun rises and the sun sets. We have air to breathe in and live. The rain falls and nourishes this world. Again, the Lord has permitted us to be able to see another day. Even more than this, God gave His only begotten Son to us.
These are blessings – the blessings of God’s love for us. Do you think the Lord blesses us so greatly for us to then turn around and be so selfish in our way? Do you think God shows us so great a love for us to turn around and to turn around and be foolish in our way? Do you think God share His abundant love for us to be so cold to move without any grace? Absolutely not.
There is a vileness that runs through te veins of some which should never course through the veins of a child of God. God pours out His love on us so that we can know what it’s like and share the same love with someone else. The believer should always look to pay it forward! What do we look like having received such love for us to turn around and be so uncaring?
When we love someone with the love that God has shown us, I promise you, it will do the soul some good. When I say that, I am speaking about the soul of the one who you have shown grace. The world needs such love today. The year just began and there’s already so much hurt in the land. So, I encourage you today to pay forward the love that God has shown us.
