Since when did God give us the spirit of fear and of cowardice? Jesus stood and looked those who opposed righteousness in their eyes. God has not poured out on us a spirit of fear nor cowardice! No, the Lord has poured out on us a spirit of courage and boldness. The one who walks in spirit and truth ought to walk full of confidence and ready to standfast in the face of all wrongdoing!

So, what I can’t understand is why so many are choosing to rollover today as wickedness continues to spread like wildfire. Paul encouraged Timothy to be ready both in season and out of season. Paul encouraged Timothy to be ready to convince and to rebuke the wrongdoer to do what is right. Paul encouraged Timothy to be ready to exhort and to teach what is right and good. You, the sincere believer, should be moving in complete faith at all times but especially today.

So long as we draw breath, we are to stand for what is holy and righteous and bear good fruit. What this means is that while others may stop doing what is holy and righteous, you shouldn’t stop. Dont’ you stop praying for others. Don’t you stop helping others. Don’t you stop loving others because all of those around you have stopped!

No, we will continue by faith because that is the charge that has been laid before us by Christ! I encourage you today to keep on keeping on, regardless of what you see on the news or hear. God’s got you in the palm of His hands, so you continue to move without fear.
