The Enemy Can Not and Will Not Prosper | Deut. 28:7

7 “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.
Deuteronomy 28:7 NKJV
When I speak about “the enemy”, I want to be very clear about who I am speaking of. The enemy, as defined by God, is one that stands against righteousness. Again, I want to be very clear that the righteousness I speak of is God’s righteousness. God’s righteousness is made up of truth, grace, mercy, salvation, forgiveness, and peace.
Imagine being one that opposes God’s truth, grace, mercy, salvation, forgiveness, and peace. The adversary moves out of pride, ego, covetousness, and greed to uplift themselves over others. There are many wicked people that’s filled with a spirit that moves against the righteousness of God. This can be a frightening thing to think about as it’s a threat against one’s safety and peace of mind. Just remember that God’s got you!
As I have said to you before, don’t worry about the enemy. As Moses said, the enemies of righteousness may rise but they certainly won’t prosper. History repeatedly shows us that God’s righteousness always stands victorious of wickedness. So, those on the side of God’s righteousness, remain steadfast in your faith and trust in the Lord. Again, I say to you, God will deliver the righteous from all of their enemies.
