The Great Joy of Faith | Isaiah 29:18-19

Read This Passage: Is. 29:17-24

18 In that day the deaf shall hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity and out of darkness. 19 The humble also shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

Isaiah 29:18-19 NKJV

There is a struggle when it comes to having faith in the Lord for many people. The reason for that struggle? Well, some people don’t believe or see the reward of having faith in the Lord. You see, many people look to receive things right away without having to wait. Those who don’t see the reward of faith right away, often give up on having any faith whatsoever. For example, some could pray for God to give them a cake and when He gives them the ingredients to make a cake, they’ll get mad that God didn’t give them exactly what they asked for. Faith does not work this way!

You should never give up on your faith so easily nor should you be ungrateful for whatever the Lord gives to you. You see, there is great joy when one remains true to their faith. Why is that? Because those that remain faithful are rewarded by the Lord for their faith. So, whether God gives us an already baked cake or the ingredients to make one, we should be grateful and filled with great joy because the Lord has shown His love for us!

Yes, our faith is rewarded in the world and one day our faith is going to be eternally rewarded. You see, those who may not have much today, will be incredibly rich with the reward of heaven tomorrow. So, my encouragement for you today is to remain true you faith regardless of the condition you may be in today. Tomorrow, God is going to reward you with the greatest blessing that anyone can receive.
