¹³ No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

1 Corinthians 10:13 NKJV

There are times where we can feel like what we are going through in life is just too much.  So, some of us may go through extraordinary lengths just to find relief but those lengths will stop including God.  Why?  Because we perceive that God isn’t moving fast enough?  Because God wants to see us be destroyed?

Such thoughts are not of faith.  To encourage you today, I share Paul’s word of encouragement.  Paul said that God will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able.  In fact, Paul pointed out that no temptation has overtaken you except such that is common to man.  At the moment of undergoing our tribulations, we’d likely think differently.   Yet, faith in the Lord is the way out of all our struggles.

Yes, this word of encouragement is to lean on God, once again.  We need to repeatedly be told to never give up on the Lord.  Yes, our temptation to give up in moments of weakness, stress, fear, and anxiety can be strong – temptation is a powerful monster.  Yet, God destroys monsters like temptation by simply batting His eyes.  

So, yes, I encourage you today to know that there is nothing God can’t handle.  Yes, He is able to deliver you from all of your troubles.  Trust in the Lord and He will make a way out for you.
