True Wisdom Is Found in Only One Place
Reverend Leo H. McCrary II
True wisdom is available to those who truly seek for it.

Today’s daily devotion: Job 28:12-28
Whether you realize it or not, there are two trains of thought (or doctrine) that are in the world today. One way is that of the Lord. God’s way is a way that is holy and righteous because He is holy and righteous. The other way is a way that seems right to a man – this is the way of the world. Is there any wisdom in the way that is of the world?
Consider that when Jesus spoke to the Jews about the way that they were going in, He said that they were moving as their father, the devil (John 8:44). Jesus spoke of the devil as one who was a murderer from the beginning, he moved against life and still does today. Jesus also said that the devil doesn’t stand in the truth, nor is there any truth in him. So, how can the way of the devil – the way of the world – be wise if it moves against life and lacks truth.
One who lacks the truth is lost. Yet, the truth – wisdom – can be found. Wisdom is with the Lord and God doesn’t hide His wisdom from us. As Proverbs 1:7 tells us, “fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” If you truly seek to learn and know wisdom, it can only be found in one place and you must go to see Him for it.
