³⁹ but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it—lest you even be found to fight against God.”

Acts 5:39

The devil is at work today. Yes, Satan is working overtime, but as hard as he is working, there is nothing that can stop God’s work from being done. In the garden, Satan thought he ruined God’s plan by helping man to rebel in the garden. Yet, God had a plan and gave the world His only begotten Son. At this very moment, Satan is working to derail you. However, the Lord has promised that you shall overcome because He has already overcome (John 16:33).

I feel I must share these words with you today because we can all see the wickedness of this day. For some of us, it’s getting to be exhausting. For others, it’s becoming stressful as we feel our livelihoods at stake. Yet, I feel it’s incredibly important to share an encouraging word with you today. The word that I share with you is that God has a plan for you and that plan cannot be overthrown. Man cannot overthrow God’s plan for you and the devil certainly can’t overthrow the plan God has for you.

As my dad once said, nobody can box with God because their arms are too short. Not only are those who dare stand in opposition to short to box against God but they don’t have the power nor authority to do so. So, to you, I say to trust God in this battle – He is not going to lose against anybody. God has promised victory and He is going to give you the victory.

To those who move against the work of love and uplifting, I share this warning from Gamiliel with you today. Your work is an incredibly dangerous work that will not be pardoned. So, I encourage you to pull back now before you find yourself boxing against the Lord. You will lose that fight and the result of trying to box God is not pretty.
