When Jesus Came Into Our Hearts | Ephesians 2:5-7

Read This Passage: Eph. 2:1-10

5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:5-7 NKJV

Before Christ was manifested in our world and become our propitiation, mankind was deeply lost in sin. You see, God had allowed many to be given over to a debased mind (heart) as they desired to dwell in sin. The problem, however, is that those who choose to live in sin will one day go on to live separated from the Lord for all of eternity. God, I want you to understand, desires to dwell with mankind for all of eternity; He doesn’t desire to be separated from us.

So, rather than letting our heart be polluted and corrupt with sin, God gave us His only begotten Son who woke our spirit – our hearts – back up from being dead in sin. Jesus is the greatest blessing that we received because not only did he awaken our soul but He has made it clean of sin. Because of Christ, we are justified of our sins and are now have a right to the Lord’s heavenly kingdom. When Jesus came into our hearts, we began to know joy and now we know the joy of salvation today.

When Jesus came into our hearts, we received the greatest treasure that anyone can find. We live under grace today, and I want you to understand, that the riches that we have received from the Lord, we should not be greedy and hold on just for ourselves. Again, I encourage you, share the grace you have received from the Lord with all of those around you so that others can come to know God’s great joy.
