Isaiah 54:17 NKJV

I want to come back to this thought from yesterday about not fearing the wicked and the evil. We don’t fear their actions today because our triumph over them has not only been assured but it’s been sealed. When I say that it has been sealed, I mean that it cannot be undone. You see, man will undo laws to fight their needs when it benefits them. God, on the other hand, is faithful to what He has promised.

Do you understand that God has promised that no weapon will prosper against you, the child of God? This means that no weapon of the enemy, flesh and blood or the devil himself, will flourish against you. We worry that the wicked can take away what has been promised us. Since when has man or the devil been more powerful than God? There is nothing and nobody more powerful than the sovereign Creator of all things.

When God said that no weapon will prosper against you, He means it! When God says that every tongue that rise against you will one day be condemned by you, He means it! God has promised the sincere believer everlasting life in His kingdom. One day, our residence is going to be in His kingdom. One day, we will also be a part of His army that returns to this world and stands against the wicked and evil.

So, fear nothing and nobody today! Your triumph over darkness has been promised, assured, and sealed. God is not going to undo what He has promised you! And, to be clear, what the Lord has promised you is victory.
